MERMAID TO BECOME AN IMPORTANT PARTNER FOR THE DANISH PHARMACY MARKET

Mermaid has entered into an extended agreement with the Danish pharmacy chain A-apoteket.   Another pharmacy chain, Pharma+, joins the instore TV network of A-apoteket, increasing the number of locations by 31. The new deal will concern 169 locations.

The agreement also defines Mermaid as the key partner in Pharma+’s new instore TV strategy. For that reason Mermaid will become Pharma+’s total supplier including all hardware, software and content. Lastly, Mermaid will be operating partner for all support and onsite services – for both pharmacy chains.

Mermaid will complete all installations for Pharma+’s new instore TV solution by the end of 2011.
